Supplier Diversity Award

This award recognises the procurement team that has made significant strides in promoting and supporting a diverse range of suppliers, including minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and other diverse businesses. By championing supplier diversity, these organisations are creating opportunities for underrepresented groups and driving positive change in the business landscape.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Diverse Supplier Utilization: Demonstrate a strong track record of actively sourcing and utilizing diverse suppliers, including minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and other underrepresented groups.
• Supplier Development and Support: Show evidence of programmes or initiatives aimed at developing and supporting diverse suppliers, such as mentorship programmes, capacity building, or financial assistance.
• Impact on Diverse Communities: Highlight the positive impact the organisation's supplier diversity efforts have had on diverse communities, including job creation, economic empowerment, and community engagement.
• Innovative Approaches to Supplier Diversity: Showcase innovative strategies or practices implemented to promote supplier diversity within the supply chain, such as supplier diversity scorecards, outreach events, or partnerships with diversity organisations.
• Supporting facts & statements: Include any other facts or statements that you feel are relevant to support your entry.
