Recognised in the 2025 awards programme, dnata Catering and Retail Ireland has been named as a finalist in two categories at the National Procurement Awards 2025, shortlisted for Most Innovative Use of Technology or Artificial Intelligence Award and Best Procurement Collaboration Project of the Year - Commercial & Consumer. The awards were presented at the Gala Ceremony on 6 November 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry.

The dual nomination recognises dnata Catering and Retail Ireland's strategic approach to procurement transformation through technology and partnership. As part of a global aviation leader, the organisation partnered with SUBU Connect to fundamentally transform food sourcing operations through digital innovation.

The initiative centres on SUBU's B2B platform, which streamlines food sourcing by digitising procurement processes, enhancing transparency across the supply chain, and enabling efficient, sustainable operations. The dual recognition positions dnata among organisations leveraging digital innovation and strategic partnerships to advance procurement capabilities within the aviation services sector.

Entries are now open for the 2026 National Procurement Awards this year, with Ireland's leading procurement professionals invited to showcase excellence across supplier management, strategic sourcing, and public and private sector procurement ahead of the deadline in July.
