Didero, a procurement automation platform based in the United States, has secured $30 million (€27.6 million) in Series A funding to expand its manufacturing-focused procurement technology. The San Francisco-based company's platform automates sourcing, supplier management and purchasing workflows for manufacturers across North America and Europe.

Find Articles reported that the funding round was led by Accel, with participation from existing investors including Y Combinator and Garry Tan. The capital will support product development, team expansion and geographic growth across key manufacturing markets.

Didero's platform addresses procurement inefficiencies in manufacturing by automating request for quotation processes, supplier discovery and purchase order management. The system integrates with enterprise resource planning systems and uses machine learning to match procurement requirements with qualified suppliers based on capability, pricing and delivery performance.

The company stated that manufacturers using the platform reduce procurement cycle times by an average of 60 per cent whilst achieving cost savings of 15-20 per cent through improved supplier competition and negotiation transparency. The technology targets mid-market manufacturers who lack dedicated procurement teams or sophisticated sourcing infrastructure.

Didero currently serves over 200 manufacturing clients across automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment and electronics sectors. The platform manages sourcing for components including machined parts, castings, fabrications and assemblies, with supplier networks spanning multiple countries.

The funding reflects growing investor interest in procurement technology as manufacturers seek to digitalise supply chain operations and improve sourcing efficiency. Didero competes with established procurement software providers whilst targeting a segment historically underserved by enterprise-scale solutions.

The company plans to expand its supplier network, enhance AI-driven matching capabilities and develop additional workflow automation features to support complex manufacturing procurement requirements across international markets.
