Sustainable Procurement Team of the Year - SME

This award recognises the procurement team that has demonstrated a committed approach to the delivery of sustainable procurement over the past 12 months. Leaders in their field, the team will be setting the standards for the profession to follow and will be the driving force behind their organisations sustainability commitments in the years ahead.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Innovation in Sustainable Practices: Demonstrate innovative approaches to integrating sustainability into procurement processes, such as sourcing from environmentally friendly suppliers or implementing circular economy principles.
• Environmental Impact Reduction: Provide an achieved measurable reduction in the environmental impact of procurement activities, such as reducing carbon emissions, waste generation, or water usage.
• Supplier Engagement and Collaboration: Demonstrate strong engagement with suppliers to promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain, fostering collaboration for mutual sustainability goals.
• Community and Social Responsibility: Demonstrated a commitment to ongoing learning and improvement in sustainable procurement practices, including participation in industry initiatives and continuous professional development.
